Do your organic roasts use any natural pesticides/fertilizers/toxins at all during its growth production stages? Are batches tested at all for mycotoxins and pesticides?
Our partners grow organic coffee with using natural fertilizers that consist mostly of coffee cherries (organic) from de-pulping and organic approved nitrogen that's formulated for coffee growing. Final product doesn't get tested for mycotoxins and pesticides most of the time, but farms get inspected at least annually for certification purposes.
Most of our organic coffees are from either Peru or Ethiopia. Ethiopia is especially interesting as they don't have pesticide distribution developed in the country, so all their coffees are 99.9% organic regardless of certification.
