I paid for a faster-priority delivery service...

It's not what I was expecting. What has happened?

Thanks for reaching out 🙂! We're so sorry to hear your shipping & delivery experience hasn't met expectations.

49th Coffee tries to process orders, especially ones that our system notifies us is a priority order for same-day order processing and shipping. Unfortunately, the cut-off time is 7am PST time zone from Monday to Friday - our business days. We are closed on weekends and holidays. For orders placed after that time, we do prioritize them for our next business day's shipment.

Ideal scenario for customers: The best days to apply a faster-priority delivery service on orders is earlier in the week such as Monday, Tuesday, etc... Later in the week, unexpected issues might delay us and you might have your parcel delivered in the next few days or worse - the next week.

Please kindly note that 49th Coffee and its couriers are separate business operations. 49th will try to prioritize and process orders in relation to the customers' paid delivery service. Unfortunately, the terms of the faster delivery are regulated by Canada Post and FedEx.

Most couriers and delivery services don't operate during weekends or holidays, this will also apply to the faster-priority delivery service. Please expect that they will deliver on weekdays as those are their business days.

Estimated standard-delivery timelines via Canada Post or FedEx:

----Delivery within BC is 1-3 business days excluding weekends and holidays.

----Delivery outside of BC is 5-14 business days excluding weekends and holidays.

Thank you for the understanding and again, we're so sorry for the inconveniences.
